Our 2nd class students had the lovely Amanda, Mary and Margaret from Clifden Tidy Towns pop up to them this week.
The committee members gave a talk to our students about litter and the benefits of reusing and recycling where we can. They also took them out for a walk and done some litter picking around the school area. Fr James even offered a helping hand!
Ahead of their visit, the children also designed some posters about litter which are hanging proudly in their classroom.
Well done to everyone involved and remember to: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle!
