We asked the children of Scoil Mhuire to submit a drawing on the theme “Clifden” or “Scoil Mhuire”, to be used on the slider at the top of our website. We thought we would change it each week/month in order to display the fantastic talent of the students. But now, 10 of the best drawings are now rolling on the top of our front page, one after the other, and will remain there till the end of the school year. An independent judge was invited to pick the most suitable drawing out of each class and the winners have been awarded a €10 Book Voucher by Mr Mc Aleer. The other entries will be used all year long in blogs or posts, so everyone’s artwork will be displayed at some stage.
