Our 6th class students had a Bake Sale and Sponge the Teacher afternoon this month and raised a whooping €1,190 for Debra Ireland.
Thank you to all the students (and parents/grandparents) who dropped in delicious home good cakes, buns and yummy goods for the bake sale.
We did try to get a photo of the wonderful selection received but there was always a big queue so it was hard to manage.
However, below are some photos of the sponge the teacher event which was great fun for all involved….including those whom were sponged!!
Well done to Molly in 6th class who won the Debra Ireland cake which was made locally by Sheila Keenan and to Oisin Morrow who won the Jar of Sweets when he guessed the correct amount.
Congratulations to everyone for such a fantastic day and a big Thank You to 6th class who organised all the events.
