6th Class trip to Dublin

On the 25th of October, the 6th class students of Scoil Mhuire went to Dublin to celebrate 100 years of Women’s rights.

During our visit to Dublin, we were treated to a VIP walk around the Dáil building and the Seanad aswell as the The Print Museum. We also met some political figures throughout the day and learnt about how their working days goes.

While at the Print Museum, we were given the opportunity to design slogan posters for Women’s Rights which were then printed out using a 100-year-old method of printing. While this was taking place, we were also filmed by RTÉ which was exciting.

In the afternoon, we were invited to the Dáil cafe, where we enjoyed lunch and for all the class the whole day was very interesting and enjoyable. Thanks to Mr McAller, Mr O Brien, Ms Clancy and Denise and Martina for coming with us.
