Junior Infants are delighted to be back at school after the Christmas Holidays. We are working really hard and learning lots of new things as well as improving on all the work we did in our first term at ‘big’ school.
In January, we found out lots of facts about penguins and learnt the names of at least five types of penguins. We had great fun with our Penguin dance , and even the Teacher and Mr. Mc Aleer tried it!!!
We even made a collage of a penguin just using torn black and white paper. Do you like them?
Winter is cold and wet and often we are unable to do our P.E class outside but we like to keep active here and every day we have a BE ACTIVE period . It can be running on the spot, robot moves, dancing, balancing, brain gym, or even a little mindfulness! What do you think we might be doing in this photo?
