A 27 strong team traveled into Galway to represent Scoil Mhuire at the Cross Country Championships for the first time. All our runners performed very well in this elite competition and two qualified for the finals next Tuesday. Aoibh Morrow was our first student to qualify in the Junior girls competition. Aoibh finished very strongly to secure a top 30 finish. Oisin Maher underlined his abilities as a runner to qualify comfortably in second place. We look forward to seeing how they get on next week. Many thanks to the teachers- Ms. Joyce and Ms. Mitchell -and parent Declan Maher- for supporting the school in this event.
