This week our 1st class students welcomed Barry Ward-a local Maritime Captain and Consultant back to school.
Barry, who has worked on various vessel types internationally with Cara Offshore popped in to tell the children all about his work and what corners of the world his job has taken him too which includes areas in both Europe and Asia. Judging by the many questions the children had for him on his job and traevls, we can safely say he has a very impressive ‘Sea-V’ and we are incredibly thankful to him for coming in to Scoil Mhuire.
