This week has been very busy in First Class. Have a look at everything they have been up to:
Mr.Higgins arrived on teaching practice.
In maths this week, the children have been learning about money. Here they are working away on their piggy banks.
In science, First Class were learning about what plants need to grow before doing some planting of their own.
In Aistear, First Class have been working in and visiting the pet shop. They have a wide selection of pets available.
This week First Class read the story of Elmer the patchwork elephant. Elmer taught them that they are all unique and they should always be themselves! After reading the story, they got to work making their own patchwork elephants. They used lots of different coloured felt. Here they are busy at work:
