Yesterday the Junior Infants set off on their very first school tour. They were so excited about their big day and as you can see from the photographs they had a brilliant time.
Firstly, they all got to sit in a real fire engine. They had lots of practice with the fire station during Aistear in the classroom but it couldn’t beat the real thing!
Next, they walked down to the playground where they had lots of fun in the sun!
The children stopped at Walsh’s where they each received a delicious gingerbread man. They took a break in the square to enjoy them.
En route back to the school, they made another pit stop at Gala for another delicious surprise. Can you guess what it was?
I think it’s safe to say that the Junior Infants really enjoyed their first school tour!
