Freezing and Thawing
Such concentration!
As part of our science investigation into Freezing and Thawing, we filled an ice-cream carton with water, put some small objects into the water and looked to see which floated and which sank to the bottom. This was very interesting as you can see from the photos above ! We put the carton into the freezer overnight.
Next day we turned our very large ice-cube out onto a tray and admired the beautiful patterns in the ice.We saw the little objects frozen into the ice- some near the surface and others at the bottom
The heat in our classroom melted the ice very quickly.
