First class have been part of initiative that has involved Mrs. Clancy, Ms Mullen, Mrs. Mc Evaddy and Mr. Mc Aleer working with small groups to improve their reading. This has afforded the students the opportunity to work hard at the core reading skills including fluency, word recognition and comprehension. Scoil Mhuire hopes that this intensive programme will provide these students with a solid framework for future reading activities.
