Looking Back on a Wonderful Year at Scoil Mhuire

As our final term comes to an end, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the many highlights that have made this school year so special. Scoil Mhuire has once again been a place of creativity, achievement, and community spirit.

  • Delivery of Restorative Practice training for both staff and parents, supporting positive relationships across our school community
  • Participation in the Clifden Arts Festival and a vibrant in-school Arts Week, giving pupils opportunities to explore drama, music, and visual art
  • Strong participation in charity initiatives, including the Team Hope Shoebox Appeal, school raffles, and concerts

In total, €1,775 was raised by our pupils to support local and national charities, including St Joseph’s ChurchConnemara Therapeutic RidingSt Vincent de Paul, and the Amber Flag mental health initiative

  • Continued excellence in sport and extra-curricular activities, including GAA, rugby, swimming, chess, and various blitzes

These achievements, along with the daily joy of learning, friendship, and growth, have made this a memorable year for all at Scoil Mhuire.

We are proud of all that our pupils, staff, and wider community have achieved together this year, and we look forward to building on this success in the year ahead.

Wishing you all a wonderful summer.
